Hickman Competes in DLCS Doubleheader

On Friday night Riley Hickman hopped behind the wheel of his Crate Late Model entry for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series sanctioned doubleheader at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama). Drawing 34 cars for the two-day King of Crate, Hickman recorded the ninth fastest lap in his group before coming in 5th in his B-Main. Starting the opening night feature in 17th, Riley dropped four spots to place 21st. (Mitchell Jenkins photo)

The following night for the $5,000 top prize, Riley secured his spot into the finale with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Dustin Harris. Falling short of a Top-10 finish in the feature, Hickman dropped seven spots logging a 12th place outing.
