Hickman Wins Governors Cup at Magnolia Motor Speedway
Following the Southern All Star Series, Riley Hickman headed to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday night for the 13th Annual Governor’s Cup. With twenty-seven Super Late Models signed in, Hickman registered the 2nd fastest time in qualifying behind Wendell Wallace setting him up with a front-row high-side starting spot for the feature alongside Wallace. Jumping into the lead early, Riley held off the 24-car field to capture his 14th victory of the season along with a $5,000 payday.
