Hickman Runner-Up in Carolina Clash at The Gap

Riley Hickman entered a single event over the weekend as he traveled to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Saturday night for a Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event.
A field of twenty Super Late Models assembled on the lightning-fast oval, all chasing the $4,000 top prize. Riley posted the seventh fastest lap overall in time trials, locking him into the seventh starting spot on the feature grid. During the course of the 40-lap finale, Hickman battled amongst the top five before crossing the finish line in second behind only race winner, Chad Ogle. Vic Hill, Mack McCarter, and Mark Vineyard rounded out the top five finishers.
