Riley Hickman Attends 45th Annual World 100
On Thursday night Riley Hickman headed to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the prestigious three-day 45th Annual World 100. With 106 Super Late Models signed in for one of two 25-lap features on opening night, Hickman earned a 3rd place starting spot in his heat with the 2nd fastest qualifying time in his group. Failing to hit a transfer spot, Riley transferred into the B-Main with a 6th place heat finish. Needing a 3rd spot or better to make the show, Riley Hickman logged a 7th place bringing an early end to his night.
After the continuous rain on Friday washed away all the events and rescheduled them to Saturday, Riley Hickman was slated to start in 6th in his heat for round two of the preliminary features. Transferring the top three out of the heats, Riley fell one spot short of a transfer spot with a 4th place outing. Battling for another 3rd spot or better, Hickman edged his way into the $5,000 to win A-Main with a 3rd place finish. Starting in the back of the pack for the 25-lapper, Riley Hickman gained two spots logging a 22nd place finish.
3Later on in the night, Hickman earned a 5th row starting spot for his heat. Needing a podium finish to make the 45th Annual World 100, Riley recorded a 9th place finish. Deciding to save equipment, Riley Hickman scratched from his B-Main.
