 Saturday night brought Riley Hickman to North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) powering the American Billet #R1 Super Late Model for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned contest. With 23 cars on hand for the Memorial Day Classic, Riley locked his spot into the $4,000-to-win A-Main with the sixth fastest qualifying time. Rolling off 6th, Hickman overtook race leader John Owenby on lap-11 and held the top spot for the next 21 circuits. With eight laps remaining, Owenby used the lap traffic to his advantage and snuck past Hickman, ultimately dropping Riley to 2nd when the checkered flag flew.  The following night at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) for the $3,000 top prize, Hickman landed a 5th place finish in the feature trailing David Brannon, Jadon Frame, Daniel Miller, and Brad Skinner across the finish line.
