September 30th, 2017 - Riley Hickman Lands Top 10 Finish in Deep Fried 75

Pulling double duty in the Super and Crate Late Model ranks, Riley Hickman headed to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) on Friday night for the sixth annual Deep Fried 75. With 30 Super Late Models on hand for the unsanctioned weekend, Riley followed up the third fastest time in qualifying with a heat race victory. Earning the 3rd-starting position for the $14,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Hickman fell three spots in the 75-lapper posting a 6th place finish. (Connie Putnam photo)

Battling for a $1,200 payday in the Crate Late Model division on Friday night, Riley landed a 2nd place finish behind Sam Seawright with Christian Hanger, Tyler Wood, and Clint Nichols completing the Top 5 finishers.

September 23rd, 2017 - Hickman Wins at EAMS; Records a Pair of Runner-up Finishes

On Friday night Riley Hickman made the trip to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) for the 45th annual Alabama State Championship. After coming in ninth fastest in his qualifying group, Hickman captured a 10-lap consolation victory locking him into the 9th-starting position for the opening night feature. Breaking into a podium spot, Riley gained seven positions notching a 2nd place finish behind Casey Roberts with Clint Smith, Tyler Thomason, and Rob Mayea competing the Top 5 finishers.

Returning on Saturday for another $2,500 top prize, Hickman posted the fastest time overall in his qualifying group locking him into the pole position for the feature. Leading from flag-to-flag, Riley cruised to his seventh win of the season and a $2,500 payday in the 25-lapper. Casey Roberts, Terrance Nowell, Clint Smith, and Austin Horton rounded out the Top 5 finishers.

Wrapping up the 45th annual Alabama State Championship on Sunday, Hickman earned the 2nd-starting position for the $4,500-to-win finale after timing in fastest in his group. Holding his spot for all 45-laps, Riley landed a 2nd place finish behind Casey Roberts with Clint Smith, Austin Smith, and Austin Horton trailing them to the checkers.

September 9th, 2017 - Riley Hickman Attends World 100 at Eldora Speedway

Kicking off the 47th annual World 100, Riley Hickman headed to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday night for the UMP DIRTcar sanctioned weekend. Drawing a stout field of 105 Super Late Models, Hickman edged his way into the opening night preliminary feature with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off 16th, Riley improved four spots in the 25-lap affair to place 12th.

The following night for another round of preliminary features, Hickman slipped back to a 7th place outing in his heat giving him one final shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Transferring the Top 2 into the show, Riley logged a 7th place outing.

Bringing the World 100 weekend to a close on Saturday evening, Riley recorded a 7th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Needing a 2nd place finish or better to make the $50,000-to-win finale, Hickman slipped back to a 22nd place outing ending his night.

September 3rd, 2017 - Hickman Bags $10,000 Payday at Rome Speedway

Saturday night brought Riley Hickman to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series sanctioned opener. With 23 cars on hand for the Down in Dixie 30, Riley recorded the fifth fastest lap in time trials locking him into the 5th-starting position for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. Losing one spot in the 30-lapper, Hickman slipped back to a 6th place finish.

The following night Riley was one of 24 entries registered in for action at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the Hoosier Race Tire South 100. Posting the fastest time overall in qualifying, Hickman locked into the pole position for the feature. Jumping into the lead on the drop of the green flag, Riley Hickman led all 100 laps to capture his sixth win of the season and a $10,000 payday.
