Riley Hickman entered familiar territory on Saturday night by competing in the annual Shamrock 50 at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia.
The $5,000-to-win, Southern All Star Racing Series sanctioned event drew forty-five entries to the 1/3 mile oval, and Riley started his evening off by posting the overall fastest lap during qualifying locking him into the pole position for the 50 lap finale.
When the feature went green, Hickman jumped to the race lead with Ethan Hunter and Jason Welshan in tow. Despite several caution periods and a late race charge from Jason Hiett, Hickman held on for a flag-to-flag victory over Hiett, Welshan, Skip Arp, and Todd Morrow.
