July 29th, 2014 - Hickman Charges to Fifth in Southern Nationals at Boyd's
Riley Hickman Racing went into battle on Tuesday night with the Schaeffer's Southern Nationals Series at Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia).

Thirty-seven Super Late Models registered for the event in front of a record breaking crowd at the oval. Riley qualified fourth in his group during time trials, which positioned him starting on the pole of a b-main. In the b-main he raced to a second place finish behind Jason Croft, earning him the eleventh starting spot in the $3,500 feature.

Hickman battled around the top ten for much of the event before mounting a late race charge that propelled him to a fifth place finish behind race winner, Randy Weaver, Chris Madden, Ronnie Johnson, and Austin Dillon.

July 26th, 2014 - Riley Hickman Runner-Up in Thriller at Talladega Short Track
Riley Hickman resumed competition with the Southern All Star (SAS) Racing Series on Saturday night at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama).

Thirty-one Super Late Models converged on the red-clay oval for the $4,000-to-win program, and Riley locked into the seventh starting spot in the 40 lapper via his preliminary efforts. When the race went green, Hickman begun working his way toward the front and soon found himself in the third position. He waged a fierce battle with Ronnie Johnson for the second spot before completing the pass and setting his sights on race leader, Randy Weaver. As the laps wound down Hickman wasn’t able to make a challenge for the lead before the checkered flag waved, settling in second behind Weaver. Ronnie Johnson, Tim Busha, and Josh Adkins rounded out the top five finishers.

July 12th, 2014 - Hickman Finishes Second in Ultimate Event at North Georgia
Riley Hickman entered a single event over the weekend, as the team traveled to North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia). A $4,000-to-win event was contested, which was sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. Hickman timed in third fastest among the twenty-three entries during qualifications, earning him the third starting spot for the 40 lap main event. Hickman ran second for much of the race where he would ultimately finish behind race winner, Randy Weaver. Tom Maddox, Ray Cook, and Jeff Smith rounded out the top five finishers. July 5th, 2014 - Riley Finds Victory Lane and Two Top Fives in Weekend Action
Riley Hickman entered a trio of events over the Fourth of July weekend that brought him his ninth victory of the season and a pair of top five finishes.

The team traveled to Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Tennessee) on Thursday evening for the annual Freedom 40, which posted a $3,000 top prize for competitors. Twenty-eight competitors entered the event, and after qualifying fifth fastest in his group Riley went on to finish third in heat race action. As a result he started twelfth on the grid for the 40 lap feature. During the course of the finale Hickman advanced to a fifth place finish behind race winner John Ownbey, Tim Busha, Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, and Eric Hickerson. Friday night found the team pitted a Moulton Speedway (Danville, Alabama) for a $2,000-to-win program at the oval. Riley locked into the main event via preliminary action and raced his #R1 BIF Motorsports/Hickman Manufacturing Company/CVR/Phantom Racing Engine Super Late Model to a solid third place finish in the final rundown. The weekend drew to a close on Saturday night with the $3,000-to-win, Firecracker 50 at Fort Payne Motor Speedway (Fort Payne, Alabama). After timing in fourth fastest during qualifications, Hickman charged from his second row starting spot to claim his ninth win of the 2014 season in the 50 lap feature.
