March 15th, 2014 - Hickman Returns to Clarksville Speedway
Riley Hickman returned to Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee) over the weekend. After last week's MARS DIRTcar Series Toilet Bowl Classic was halted for rain, track officials made the decision to pay half the purse for their positions in the running order that night. It was announced earlier in the week that the remainder of the race's distance would be held over and the other half of the purse distributed at the completion of the 40 laps. Riley registered a second place finish in that event.

In the evening's regular scheduled event, Hickman posted the seventh quickest time overall in qualifying among fourteen entries, which locked him into the fourth starting spot for his heat race. Riley went on to a second place finish in his heat, earning him the third starting spot on the grid for the 25 lap main event. Hickman battled at the front of the back during the feature and crossed the checkered flag in third.

The Ultimate Super Late Model Series event scheduled at Lavonia Speedway on Sunday was postponed due to the forecasted inclement weather.

Thirty-five entries highlighted the Super Late Model Portion of the annual Tuckassee Toilet Bowl in Round #1 of the doubleheader weekend. Riley posted the quickest lap in his respective group during time trials and went on to win his heat race, locking him into the outside pole position for the main event. During the shortened 20 lap feature, Hickman jumped into the top spot and opened a comfortable lead early. A hard charging Brian Shirley was able to close on the leader during the late stages of the race but it was all Hickman at the finish line, picking up his second win of the season over Shirley, Justin Asplin, Jason Riggs, and Walker Arthur.

Saturday night's finale drew twenty-seven competitors for the $5,000-to-event, and Hickman started the night off by winning his heat race, which locked him into the third starting spot for the 40 lap main event. Unfortunately, the night came to an early end when heavy rain moved into the area during the feature with just nine laps complete. The event was not rescheduled and Hickman was credited with a third place finish.
